The NFL found out the footballs were not up to regulation standards when the Colts defensive players began to sense that the balls being thrown felt lighter then usual. At halftime, the referees measured the pressure of the football, and found that the majority of the balls actually were deflated. The pressure matters because it's easier to catch a football when there is less pressure.Over 9 years ago21mbramm added a new comment in
The rule they could change is instead of the players filling the balls themselves, the officials should fill them and make sure their correct.Over 9 years ago21bquinnliked a comment in The Mystery Surrounding New England Patriots' Deflated Footballs.
