dang it's been super long since I posted a review. Shoutout to the editors that made a bunch of my reviews Editors Pick, thats pretty cool! Anyways this movie is really bad and insulting. I was lukewarm when I saw it, but then as time grew I hated it. It's such a boring take on Freddie Mercury, and the story seemed very obviously altered to fit a movie formula. The only thing that saves it is Rami Malek being a great actor, other than that it's a bruh moment
Ok. I'm not going to pretend that the first Cars movie was a cinematic masterpiece. But at least the people making it cared about it. The only reason that this movie was made was for merchandise sales. It didn't even matter what it was about. It just had to have a bunch of new characters to make toys out of. There is not a single good line or joke. I liked Mater in the first Cars but in this one he was just annoying. If I had not seen this movie and you showed Cars 3 and told me it was Cars 2, I'd believe you. Because nothing in this movie has any impact on the franchise. Good for you if you like this movie, but for me, there wasn't anything worthwhile under the hood. GET IT!
Why does Will Smith as the genie look like that? Why are they talking about jam for 5 minutes. The original Aladdin is my favorite Disney movie and I just hate the way Disney is milking nostalgia just for money.
Monsters, Inc. is my favourite animated movie of all time. So I was pretty excited to see this movie. Unfortunately, it failed harder than Mike Wazowski's scaring career. Mike and Sulley are very enjoyable to watch in this movie, but every other character is forgettable and bland. Hardsrabble feels unnaturally hateful to everyone. Why would a Dean of a university be so condescending to her students? Anyway, if you like this movie, keep liking it. Don't let my silly personal opinion stop you from liking this movie.
