At first, when I was told that we were going to the movies to watch "Coco" I wasn't super exited. It seemed like it would be a boring movie. It turned out to be amazing, not boring at all! Other kids at school said it was "bad", but I could tell some of them only said it because they thought it was uncool to like a cartoon movie. I for one loved it and thought Disney's movie about a different culture than usual was great!
The movie was so good, I especially loved the songs. My choir is singing one of my favorite songs, "This is Me" My other favorite is "Rewrite the Stars". The actors are so good too. All in all, the movie has a great message about staying true to yourself, your family, and your friends.
A lot of people after a while decided that it was "uncool" to like Frozen. I for one, love the movie and think it is cute. But, just like any other movie it isn't fun to watch over and over again. So, don't hate Frozen because it seems like what everyone else is doing.
The book is great! I absolutely loved it! It was great writing too. I wouldn't suggest it to little kids, because they might not completely understand and get the wrong message. One girl I knew read it in third grade and started acting like a drama queen, a total Mackenzie. The series is one of my favorites though, but i'm about to start sixth grade. I rated this a five star, for the appropriate age.
