I LOOOOVE this movie! M. Night Shyamalan is such a great director. Just to be clear, I would not recommend this to the under-thirteen crowd, depending on how much you think they can take. It isn't so scary you'll have nightmares for a month, but it does have it's moments. There is one swear word used once in the entire movie, so keep that in mind if you plan on watch it with younger kids. Okay, the movie is about a boy named Cole. Everyone thinks he's a really weird kid because he acts strange and odd things happen around him, but here's his secret. He sees dead people. He has his whole life. They are always with him, they talk to him, follow him, and sometimes even try to hurt him. Some of them don't even know they're dead. He starts seeing a therapist because his loving mother thinks he's having a hard time after his dad left. Cole eventually tells the therapist his secret, and he tries to help him to not be afraid of the people, but hearing out these ghosts can reveal dark and surprising secrets. I figured out the ending before it came, but that just means that there was good foreshadowing and the plot made sense. Be warned, the dead people are shown looking how they did when they died (bullet wounds, fire, poison, hanging) so if you're not good with blood or gore (not excessive) you may want to cover your eyes. I'm fine with all of that stuff but my older sister hides under her blanket sometimes during the movie. It does have a couple jump-scares, and more than a few intense moments, but I LOVE that kind of stuff. I would totally recommend this movie.

This movie was pretty awesome, I really liked the plot twist at the end (not giving out any spoilers) and I liked the slight creepiness to it, and they managed to keep it real throughout it all.

This movie was really creepy. In the beginning, I thought the man that got shot was just hurt. At the end, I realized he was dead the whole movie. I know that because a little boy has six senses. He can talk to ghosts. He is talking to the dead father the whole movie.
