Richard Adams is an amazing author. His type of writing is unlike any other. He uses strong words and details to make you think that you are in the book.

I liked this book. It wasn't the type of books I usually like to read but I did enjoy the tales of Hazel and all the other rabbits adventuring and traveling.

Overall, the book was good. It was kind of confusing because the boy rabbits' names sounded like girl names, and it took me a while to figure out what type of bird Keehar was, but I liked the quotes at the beginning of each chapter.

This book was pretty good. The start of the book was a little slow and not very interesting. but closer to the end it got exciting

It was enjoyable but was stretched out and everytime you thought it was over it started again. This book would be better for adults than children

this book, is amazing! you should really read it, no matter what age! :)

Watership Down Hazel, the lead rabbit that blazed the trails ahead of the other rabbits he was with, looked around the new place that was to be their warren now. The rabbits had finished their adventures coming here from the old warren and now they started to dig burrows in the soft, sandy bank next to a creek and green grass. While the rabbits were digging their new homes a stranger rabbit was seen coming towards them. He said his name was Cowslip and he was there to help the traveler rabbits. He told them that the way they were digging the burrows was not right because the wind would blow through it. Cowslip invited them to come to his warren and live and then he ran back to his burrow because it was starting to rain and he didn’t like to get wet. Hazel and the other rabbits talked about if they should go or not because the other warren might try to kill them. They eventually decided that they should go and they trudged off in the direction that Cowslip had gone. When they got to the new warren they looked around and liked it, but they still felt cautious about these rabbits. Should they stay here or not? Hazel must make the decision soon. Thats in chapter 5

This book is perfect for people of all ages! It's exiting and full of adventure, but there is a moral along with it. Actually, several morals! The first is: "If friends stick together there is many things they can accomplish" and the second is: "Don't be afraid to change for the better!" I really like this book and i would recommend reading it because it will help you with life problems.
