not only is this book set in SF, one of my favorite places, but its about books. and its a mystery. aND a treasure hunt. this sounds like a better version of the 39 Clues series, and I'd be very excited to read it.Almost 9 years agomaddyrocks13 added a news bookmark.

This is one of the best movies I've seen from Pixar. The representation and personification of the abstract concept of thought and feeling is perfect, and entertaining!! This movie had me in tears three times, and had a few jokes thrown in that were specifically meant for the more mature members in the audience ;) To sum it up, I rate this movie 10/10, and it's definitely a must-see.Almost 9 years agorageandl0v has watched this movie.

The book Stonebird, Mike Revell's debut novel, is one of the most unique and refreshing books I've read for a long time. Something I liked a lot about this book was how it combined supernatural elements (spoiler - yes, the gargoyle is alive!) with the real world. I also loved how the plot was original and, unlike a lot of books these days, didn't feel like something I'd read before. I also really liked the writing style of this book. It's very funny - our narrator is an 11-year-old boy wise beyond his years - and also very pretty. I also liked how this book had an ending that wasn't all happy, but was happy enough and still realistic. The age recommendation on the back said for ages 10 - 12, but I think if you're a bit older, like me, you can enjoy this book as well!Almost 9 years agomaddyrocks13's book review was featured in Stonebird.
