bibliophile's book review was featured in Gears of Revolution (Mysteries of Cove).
A book full of mystery, adventure, arduous activities, and anything your heart desires- this book encompasses a story of a true hero. Meet Trenton and Kallista, this whole adventure wraps around those two pairs working together to find where Kallista's father, Leo Babbage, disappeared off too.... Of course with the help of a special creature, a dragon, which serves as ship... After being leaded to many different places- they end up going to city of nowhere- more specifically an underground city- they soon find out that there is a civil war between the Order of the Beast and the Whipjacks... and the pair gets captured by the Whipjacks!!!! DUN DUN DUNNNN!!! And it's fair to say that... it's only the beginning.... Now what is going on right now??? Who knows??? What can Kallista and Trenton do?? Honestly... right now... they can't do anything because they are held in captive- but afterwards they find out that Kallista's dad was in the same toes as them... And they also meet new people like Ander, Plucker, and Cochrane... That Cochrane made me question everything.... And Ander came and go really quickly... Which makes (probably all) readers question everything... Honestly there's too much going on without spoiling everything- I like to clarify that I did not read the first book... despite that, overall this book was amazing, adventurous, suspenseful, and honestly it was SAVAGE... no wonder why J. Scott SAVAGE wrote this (no, ye??? puns??? Sorry, I just love puns... but XD)... So despite reading the first book- I'm really interested to read the third book... because aren't you interested? Did this spark you interest at all- because you can be honest.... Where is Leo Babbage?? Will Trenton and Kallista complete their duty?? Who can they trust?? Will Trenton's and Kallista's relationship be stronger or actually worsen??? Honestly, this story gives an amazing moral... and it was a nice, sweet, cliffhanging story. ENJOY! :D

bibliophile's book review was featured in The Changelings.
Meet Izzy Doyle, an eleven year old, who recently moved to Everton (totally unrelated, but Everton has a store called the Jiggly Goat)... Anyways there is a specific house in Everton that was bequeathed (more like it was forced- you’ll see after you finish reading this book) to Izzy’s father, which is the place where they moved to. According to the cash register in Jiggly Goat, there is a witch, Marian Malloy, and she’s watching out for “faries.” It’s sort of ironic how the cashier said that… Izzy is very determined to find out what exactly does the witch do for fun… I mean does she cast some sort of spell??? As she was “spying” on the witch… Marian Malloy was just washing the dishes! And maybe Hen might have accidentally told on Izzy… And maybe Hen spilled lemonade on Izzy’s book, which induced her to cry out and scream at Hen. The following day- Hen was playing in the woods, but Izzy heard some sort of music “from inside the woods,” but Hen was already gone. DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN. Izzy woke up from her huge headache and found herself in the “witch’s room” aka Marian Malloy. Izzy became cautious after she saw a kindergarten picture of her, but Marian told her that it was her grandmother’s scrapbook (the one who passed away) and that she genuinely cared for both girls- she wanted to protect them. However… remember that music that was going on when Hen disappeared? Well, Izzy hummed the parts she could remember and Marian instantaneously grew pale… Uh oh… Something smells fishy here! As Marian instructed Izzy to go back home as Marian will dutifully bring Hen home, Izzy defiantly did the opposite and followed Marian. She later finds herself stuck with Marian and ends up going to the land of “Farie.” In the land of Farie, there is trouble brewing up… She ended up being chased by Unglers (Unglers are creepy creatures who chase Changlings)... Now who are the Changlings? Well they’re humans who can transmogrify into any animals. *I’m so jealous right now- I want to have those types of power* Izzy meets Lug as they are running for their lives… Lug and Dree takes Izy to their safe haven and Izzy meets Selden… Together they all go on a trip to Avhalon to see what will happen… Izzy later finds out that the Piper is illegally stealing children (ie: Hen) for the Queen… and now Hen is the Queen’s “daughter.” How will this group of outlaws be able to retrieve Hen and find the Queen’s devious plans before it actually comes true? Where are the other Changelings- or are they the only one left? Why did the Piper take Hen? All of these questions can be answered once you read it…. Enjoy! Usually, fantasy and me don’t really match; however this was an amazing book about true friendships and the power of love… I absolutely adored this book… This whimsical and fantastical story will transport you to the land of Farie and will take you on an adventure… This is one story you would not to miss!

Yes... But it's more of a adventure rather than a mystery... They uncover some secrets so it's a mix. If you like reading dystopian type adventures (also uncovering secrets that can change the way they live)... This book is for you!

bibliophile's book review was featured in The Great Shelby Holmes.
The Great Sherlock Holmes- wait, did I say Sherlock? No, I meant The Great Shelby Holmes… there so analogous in personalities, I almost confused myself! Okay… maybe I’m a bit exaggerating, after all she doesn’t smoke a pipe like Sherlock, but Detective Shelby is best of the best… Did I tell you that she’s nine and is in sixth grade! Although she may be someone one would want to underestimate.. I REPEAT: Do not underestimate Detective Shelby (trust me on that one)... Meet Dr. John Hamish Watson- aww man I did it again! I meant John Watson…. Sherlock Holmes’s friend and associate… AGAIN, I got myself carried away… Anyways, John Watson is the kid who moves near Shelby’s home- sure the way I talk about him seems unimportant… but John and Shelby are the true key in order to solving a case… well… any case. The thing is Shelby never had any friends… and she would one aloof duck… but it’s would okay because she would always be engrossed in solving mysteries and pissing off incompetent detectives adults like Inspector G. Lestrade… oops I meant Detective Lestrade(except Inspector Lestrade can be more respected instead of Detective Lestrade- you’ll realize why), but it makes complete sense… Detective Lestrade is incompetent, very immature (I would have mistaken her for a nine year old instead of an adult) Anyways, Shelby shows John around the vicinity and John speculates how Shelby is a celebrity (well, sort of), everybody acknowledges her and asks if she wants something… One day when Shelby was “walking” John, Tamra— a student from The Academy— was in a dire need of help… Her show dog, Daisy, was missing! So on they go to their “perilous” journey. So as Shelby and John observes around Tamra’s opulent home, they come across Zareen and her dog and Zane. They actually come across a lot of suspects, but not that many evidence… Uh oh! Could it be Zareen because she’s jealous of Tamra and she wants all the attention.. Or could it be the dog trainer, Emerson, who was caught in a lie? Oh, could it be Tamra who did it to go to Paris with her sister? . Wait we’re not at that part yet… Anyways John feels bad because he thinks he’s using Shelby to make “actual friends” like Zane, who can “play ball” like Watson (sorry, I’m just testing out the nickname Shelby has for John which is Watson)... As they looked through the evidence and the “crime scene,” so many elements come in play which is why it’s so hard to find the culprit- but not to Shelby and John. While John was playing pickup basketball with Zane and his friends, they obtained a lead! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNN… Could this be the breaking point and are they going to find the culprit? So this story was such a fun break from reading depressing short stories… I was completely shocked about who did it… I really liked the overall message and the content itself.. It really reminded me of Friday Barnes- a book- I REALLY RECOMMEND… And it all comes down to this: what everybody needs is a true friend. For people who enjoy solving mysteries, Sherlock Holmes, and reading about friendship, this book is for you! Hope you read this amazing, mysterious, adventurous, and suspenseful book… because it WILL keep you up! Enjoy!
