We've read the funny books, the sad books, the bittersweet books. Well, this book is all in one. 12 year old August "Auggie" Pullman has many face impairments, with lots of surgeries to fix them. He still looked "different" from other kids, making the kids treat him differently, and lots of times, rudely. Join Auggie as he fights his way through 5th grade, the first time he's enrolled in a school instead of homeschooled. There are perspective chapters, from the perspectives of Auggie, Via his sister, Summer his friend, Jack his friend, etc. Now comes with a Julian part - the bully. This book is a 6/5 for me, it's so amazing and heartfelt.

We've all enjoyed Diary of a Wimpy Kid, but Dork Diaries is also amazing! This series is about a girl, Nikki Maxwell, barely "surviving" middle school as she writes her diary entries. The main character Nikki is joined by lots of fun characters, including her bestfriends Zoe and Chloe, and her crush Brandon. This first book of many is an amazing introduction to Nikki's world, with amazing drawings and doodles. Would recommend anyone who wants a laugh this book!

THIS IS MY FAVORITE book series of ALL book series/books possible. This story begins with the sad life of Harry Potter, age 10, being bullied by his cousin Dudley and treated meanly by his Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon. However, as the kind giant Reubus Hagrid told Harry, he was a wizard! His parents didn't "die in a car crash" like his aunt and uncle said. They were actually killed by Voldemort, and Harry somehow survived the evil dark magic. Join Harry as he tries to survive year 1 at Hogwarts, his school, being treated like a celebrity. <3 THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER, YOU WON'T REGRET READING IT!

Smile! When Raina accidently knocks out her teeth during a race with her friends, she didn't know how horrible the process of getting her teeth looking normal again will be! Middle school brings lots of new problems like mean friends and crushes not liking you. Live with Raina through highschool as she gets her teeth back, and realizes the struggles of growing up and sometimes, it's better to find new friends too. I LOVE THIS BOOK <3 the drawings are very cute too!

This funny and heart felt comic tells us all about Raina's trip with her annoying little sister and brother through pictures and speech bubbles. Raina again faces the troubles of growing up, including parent arguments and sleeping without stuffed animals. I really liked this book, as sister faces sister, they learn the true meaning of siblings <3

Katniss Everdeen was living a hard but okay life before she was picked to go into the Hunger Games. Now , Katniss is faced with troubles beyond belief; fighting for her life, and killing others in the process... for entertainment for the City. This sad, bittersweet, interesting, fun, and romantic story will leave you rushing to the library to get the sequels that follow it! This book was... WOW! I would recommend it to 12+.

THIS BOOK IS SO SO FUNNY!! To be honest, the others in the series are better, but its still VERY GOOD! Greg Heffley is faced with middle school, and tries to go through school without his teachers finding out his brother was Rodrick, who had a very bad reputation. At times, you'll be laughing, cheering, and smiling at this amazing book. I recommend it to people who love to laugh!
