"There are two types of beings in the universe: Those, who dance and those, who do not." -Drax. As a huge marvel nerd, its safe to say that James Gunn worked his classic "Out-of-this-world" movie. This story follows Peter Quill as him and his gang are sent to protect the Sovereign, an alien race that has these precious batteries. When Rocket Racoon steals the batteries, the sovereign won't stop until they destroy the guardians. As the Guardians try to escape, the mystery of Peter's parentage is revealed. Ego, Peters dad, also known as Living Planet is, for all intents and purposes, a god. When Peter and Ego reunite, Ego explains that he is a god and that Peter and him will rule the galaxy. When Ego confesses that he planted the brain tumor in Meredith Quill, Peter's mom. Peter lashes out and the guardians ultimately destroy the "god" This movie literally made me pee in my pants. I laughed and cried a little, but enjoyed every bit. I recommend this movie for +12 because of sexual references and rough language. Other than that, four stars!

Imagine being a kid that may act, speak, and play normally but doesn't look normal. This is the life of Auggie. He may play video games like every other 11 year old kid, but he isn't treated normally. This would be his 1st year of school. His first year of 5th grade. Just because he is born with a facial deformity means that he is different from every else. He doesn't make many friends except for one girl named Summer. Together they go through many adventurers like fighting off bullies, and going on crazy school trips. This teaches us about the wonderful friendship and kindness.

"Hope is the only thing stronger than fear." -Suzanne Collins (Hunger games Author) 16 year old Katniss Everdeen lives a normal life with her sister, Primrose, and her mother, and her best friend/secret crush Gale in the state of Panem in District 12. Every year, Panem hosts the annual Hunger Games to control their growing population. Two participants from each district-one female and male get drawn to fight and kill each other to death. When Primrose Everdeen is chosen to enter and fight in the 74th annual hunger games, Katniss volunteers as a tribute to take her sister's place, unsure whether she will ever see Gale, Primrose, nor her mother ever again. The male tribute for district 12 is Peeta Mellark, who loves Katniss for more than just a friend. This book has humor, tragedy, and romance packed in an amazing and gripping dystopian novel. Great book for Preteens.

I recently finished this book and I loved it. Lauren Myracle is definitely someone I would love to say produce more books! Natasha Blok, the main character, gives the reader all of the excitement, laughter, and anxiety a reader needs. It keeps us turning the pages and even gives us a little romance! It is the beginning to one mystery and one great series and I can't wait to read the next few books! I definitly recommend it even if some may not see it as their style. It includes magic and much more instore!
