Wow, this is amazing! To think that there is so much down there and we didn't know till now! It's funny because this kind of reminds me of one episode of the tv show White Collar where there is a submarine that they found full of art that was plundered in World War II. Anyways, this is so cool.
This is my absolute favorite stand-alone book. I love books with character development, and this one, in my opinion, is the best. Whenever I read this book, it hasn't gotten old and I always feel satisfied when I finish. I can be able to lean back in my chair and sigh, quite content with my life (😁 I'm serious, this happens to me). I don't know what else to say except that this is my favorite! (and I read A LOT of books...)
I think I first read this book when I was 8 and 9 years old and did really like it, but it wasn't until I read it for a second time when I was 11 that I really understand the meaning of the book. And that was when I really loved it. And I hope you guys do too!
(Also, Elizabeth George Speare has lots of other good books like Witch of Blackbird Pond and Sign of the Beaver.)
Okaaay...I feel like my mind doesn't know what to think. I am not a huge fan of rodents, although some of them are pretty cute. And I'm not sure if it's cute or a little bit creepy. I feel like I'm tilting more to the cuter side...But, you gotta admit, she looks pretty good in that dress!
