Yet another great story. The reason I recommended this book is because of it's comic story line and the fact that the writer made sure that "villain" or the antagonist in the story gets a fitting end. The only flaw lies in how they portrayed grandma like a "witch" in the story, which may seem somewhat strange, considering that no grandma is like that. But anyhow, it was a splendidly put together story, and I believe that all the young readers will have an enjoyable time while reading this book.

This book is a nice horror story. But considering the fact that it is meant for children, The reason I don't recommend it is not because it is scary, but because the end of the story may be disturbing for some children, about how those innocent children, who wished to lead a happy life, were turned into chipmunks for the rest of their lives

This book is very special. Not only it tells the story of the lone orphan, Oliver, but also unfolds the harsh reality of the hardships faced by the children & orphans at that time. From the time Oliver was first introduced into the story line, to the time the story had a happy ending, the story was never low on suspense and impacts, Hence I recommend this book to all teen readers(it may be hard to understand for children).

An amazing book with a very different & modern concept. Somehow, the story resembles human nature as a one with emotional variations from person to person. There are good men, and there are cruel and bad men, and sometimes ignorant men as well. The story helps us to look upon the world through the perspective of an animal, and that their emotions are somewhat similar to that of humans.
