If you are even a little bit of a fan of mythology, this is made for YOU. Aru shah, twelve-year-old girl, never fit in, so she had always wanted to. She lives in the Museum Of Indian Art and Culture, so her whole life, she has heard stories, and warnings on "Do's" and "Don't's." Espeeeecialy that one about not lighting the "cursed lamp" of Bharata. Definitely a Don't. But none of this stops her from lying to her fellow classmates about being royalty, and about always jetting off to luxurious islands like them. Or from lighting the cursed lamp that she had literally been told a thousand time not to lamp when three of her classmates show up to catch her in a lie. So she lights it, and in doing so, unwillingly awakens the Sleeper, a demon who will freeze everyone in time, and awaken Lord Shiva, the God of Destruction, who will end the world. Yikes. Suddenly, she is whisked away to "The Otherworld,'' the realm of the gods, where she will team up with Boo the pigeon, and her sister to get to the celestial weapons before the sleeper, and save the world. Introduced by legendary mythology writer Rick Riordan, Readers are bound to be hooked after page one, to excited to stop reading for a single second!

my joke: Two hunters are in the woods, when one of them collapses. the second man whips out his phone, dials 911, and shouts "Operator, help! my friend is dead!" The operator says, "OK, stay calm. First we need to make sure he is actually dead." There is a silence. Then a gunshot. The man, back on the phone says,"OK, he's dead. Now what?

I read this book to do a review and this is it: John Hale is an eleven year old boy who moved to Dakota Territory, and he isn't used to the rough Dakota winters. But when an early blizzard comes, he realizes just how deadly they can be. Finally, it stops, and everything seems fine, until one warm afternoon, a large storm cloud rumbles, and everything changes. Lauren Tarshis makes history fun, with twists and turns at every corner, and her 16th book is one amazing example of this! I seriously recommend this book, and i do to anyone and everyone!

I read this book two years ago, and I still remember everything about it. Katniss is a girl who hunts illegally to keep her family fed. When people are being chosen to be put in an arena to fight to the death, Katniss's little sister, Prim, is chosen. Katniss takes her place, knowing she will probably be killed. Put against every challenge, Katniss tries to survive.

In The Serpents Secret, Kiranmala is celebrating her 12th birthday, despite having who she thinks are the weirdest parents in the world. They are always calling her a princess and telling her stories about their heritage. Suddenly, she is attacked by a Rakkosh, and two princes swoop in to "save the day". Kiranmala is whisked away into a strange, magical world, where she is confronted by all sorts of monsters! I would personally recommend this book to anyone . It's full of excitement, and magic. So if you are into that kind of thing, Kiranmala And The Kingdom Beyond is right up your alley!
