I would like to receive these books because I love to read and our library doesn't really have the latest books - they take a year or two to get all the new stuff. They look interesting, fun to read (plus - I'm in middle school! xD) and I think I'd enjoy them.

From the reviews and summary it seems like this is one great book! I think it's those really enjoyable types of stories that just pull you in and keep you stuck with the mixtures of suspense, surprise, adventure and mystery. It'd would be great if I won it!

Harry Potter thinks he is an ordinary orphan boy living with his rather mean and selfish aunt, uncle and cousin. That all changes when he receives (many, many, many) letters inviting him to Hogwarts, the school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry is special and everybody knows it - recognizing him by the trademark lightning-shaped scar on his forehead - except him. The scar was given to him by Lord Voldemort, the villainous Wizard who killed his parents and terrorized pretty much everybody before a little baby boy - Harry Potter - stopped him eleven years ago (round about). Now he must face off against his Parents' murderer and stop Lord Voldemort from coming back all while keeping the infamous Philosopher's Stone safe and passing his classes. This book is a really great read, full of adventure, tons of suspense, sly humor and keeps readers wishing they weren't just normal muggles (non-magic humans).

This book is the first adventure in a trilogy about four sisters - Rosalind, Skye, Jane and Batty - and their families. In this book, the six Penderwicks family members (the sisters, their dad and their dog) spend their holiday in a cottage on the grounds of a beautiful estate called Arundel. This sets the stage for secrets, danger, emotion, adventure and fun. It's a very good read and really hard to put down once you get started. This book has a very unique charm about it. **Note: I updated this before but for some reason it disappeared and I put it back after finding it agains somewhere else lol. Sorry if it caused any trouble...

Amy and Dan Cahill are orphans and now their grandmother, the woman they were closest to after their parents, has died, leaving behind a very strange will. She gives each of her descendants a choice: one million dollars or a clue. A clue to the power behind the Cahill family name, a family which the greatest people of all time have all belonged to (such as Houdini, George Washington, Da Vinci, etc.). Now it's up to Amy and Dan to escape with their half-babysitter, kill her credit card and figure out the formula to the Cahills' success or the reason behind their parents' death. This book is full of suspense and leaves you wanting more until you finish the entire series and find out that you have to wait until the next book comes out. Each book reveals one of the 39 clues in an action packed adventure. (Read all of them. Now.)

I love reading mysteries and I also really like science and building things. This book seems interesting and I would like to read it. It also comes with project blueprints and I think it would be fun to use them and create different things or use their ideas.

My sister really likes animals and so I'd like to win this book for her. I think it would be fun to look at all the glossy pictures and learn about the fascinating animals out there together.
