I've heard of them but I don't really get the point. People say that it's "satisfying", but they go on to just get bigger better ones, so it seems like it isn't all that satisfying. I've never looked for satisfaction. It's kind of sad, really- watching people get caught up in fads. Always looking for the next big thing, something to keep them busy. The worst part is they're so busy looking, they miss what they already have. They miss the sunset- each one different. They miss the people in their lives and the little kindnesses they give. They miss the smell of summer mornings. They miss the little things in life. They look so hard they only see the things at eye level- and miss the flowers at their feet. I feel so bad for the searchers. I guess what I'm trying to say is not to look for satisfaction in life. Don't collect things. Collect memories. Sunsets. Smiles. If you search, you won't find it. But if you slow down, look around, live in the moment, love the little things-you'll see.

armcginn's book review was featured in Siege and Storm (The Grisha Trilogy).
Alina is back in the riveting second installment of the Grisha Trilogy! More powerful than ever, she must evade the Darkling if she wants to stay free. The Darkling is a relentless hunter and will stop at nothing to find her. With the power of the Sun Summoner, he could rule the world. With the Sun Summoner on the loose, she could ruin his. Will she always run from The Darkling, or will she stand and fight? With the weight of the world resting on her shoulders, Alina must find her strength, gather her power, and face the storm. See the full extent of Bardugo's world-building mastery, watch her characters grow and develop. Complex and fascinating, Seige and Storm is a book worth your time! In this book, you'll meet a new cast of characters (Sturmhond rules!), explore the Grishverse, and see new sides to every character. Be sure to have the next book, Ruin And Rising close by- you won't want to put the series down! I know I couldn't- It only lasted me a day! I'd recommend it for 6th grade and up, I'm in Highschool and still enjoyed it to the full! I look forward to starting Bardugo's other series Six of Crows, soon!
