You did a good job with this review. It really gives the reader a general idea of what happens in the book and also shows the reader what you liked about the book. Nice Job!About 4 years agoevaali1920liked a comment in The Battle of the Labyrinth (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 4).
In this Percy Jackson book, it is different at camp. There is a new swords teacher, Quintes, and Mr.D is gone. When playing capture the flag Percy and Annabeth find an entrance to the Labyrinth, a Greek underground maze made by Daedalus. When they find out that the titan army has Kronos rising and is going to attack camp, Percy and his friends must do whatever it takes to keep Camp Half Blood safe. Who will win? Who will die in battle? Read “Percy Jackson: The Battle of the labyrinth” to find out. I really liked this book because it was full of action and adventure. The reading level is grades 2-8 but the interest level is grades 5-8. I think that people who are interested in Greek mythology and action would really enjoy this book.About 4 years agoevaali1920liked a comment in The Titan's Curse (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 3).
This was a really good book. I loved how it introduced the characters and discribed them well. I also loved how the charcters were really brought to life in just a matter of a few chapters and then the rest of the book consisted of an amazing adventure that you feel your apart of.About 4 years agoevaali1920liked a comment in The Titan's Curse (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 3).
Percy Jackson (or if you want to be all official and stuff: Percyus Jackson, son of Poseidon, the god of the sea) Is constantly struggling to not let his temper get the best of him. He struggles with not getting kicked out of schools (he's been kicked out of 6). He struggles with ADHD (like me xD) and dyslexia. But all that changes when he takes a crazy drive in a mustang to camp Half-Blood. He learns there to fight with swords, and (accidentally) learns how to get rid of bullies like Ares the god of war's kids with toilet water. He is now trying to find the goddess of the hunt and Annabeth who were kidnapped.About 4 years agoevaali1920liked a comment in The Sea of Monsters (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 2).
This was a wonderful second book for the Percy Jackson series. I love the author, Rick Riordan, because he manages to entertain you with hilarious humor while educating you on mythology at the same time, a very hard feat to accomplish. In this book Percy goes on another quest (obviously) but this time he has some different companions with him, including Annabeth , his newfound half-brother Tyson, and Clarisse, much to Percy's annoyance. This time, however, they are rescuing Grover, who has been on his own quest to find Pan. Percy and his companions are also trying to find a very important magical object that could save Camp Half-Blood after what Luke, who recently betrayed Percy and the camp, did to Thalia's tree that protects the magical borders. Rick Riordan once again has written an amazing book that I could not put down. I would recommend this to anyone who likes humor and mythology, and who doesn't like that?About 4 years agoevaali1920liked a comment in The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 1).
It was a great book. It is about a kid named Percy who finds out he is a demigod, which is half man and half God, and his father is the Greek God Poseidon. He goes to a camp for demigods, and gets sent to a dangerous quest. This book had very good details so you know exactly what was happening, memorable characters, suspense, A LOT of ACTION, and a HUGE twist in the end. I am not going to spoil it, so you should go read the book. Also, after you read it, you won't stop reading Rick Riordan's books.About 4 years ago
