Introduction Have you been looking for a good book? Well I got one for you and the name of the book is Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli. The genre is fiction. In my personal opinion, this is one of my favorite books. I would rate it ten out of ten any day. It is a very exciting book to read. Body Paragraph The main character of the book is Maniac Magee and his Mom and Dad died in an accident. This takes place in California. He lives with his uncle, but he ran away in the middle of a school play. Now, he is on the run trying to find a home. After he becomes friends with a girl, he decides to live with her. After a while, he is on the run again and is living his life freely. This book is exciting to read because of the action taking place, like fights. This book is also one of my favorite books because it is one of the only ones that makes me excited to read it. A type of reader that would like this would be a reader who likes action in the book.

The book Hold Me Closer by David Levithan is about a gay guy named Tiny. He has been gay for as long as he could remember. He faces troubles throughout the story. Tiny thinks of his life as a musical, so there are songs throughout the story that really convey them message of the story. I thought this book was a very good book. I thought it was a very good book because you don't find many books about overweight gay guys who sing. It really made me understand what gay people go through. This book is realistic fiction because there are gay people in this world and people need to learn to accept it. This book is for anyone to read, boy, girl, old, or young. It is for anyone because it really shows what gay people go through. One internal conflict that Tiny had was that he didn't really know who he was and had to try to figure it out. One external conflict is when Tiny is playing baseball. People start making fun of him because he's overweight and gay. Overall, I thought this was a very good book. (Updated about 5 months ago)

Have you been eyeing the science fiction book Michael Vey The Prisoner of Cell 25 by Richard Paul Evens? Well, if you have, you picked the right choice because when you read this book it will take you on an adventure through the tough times Michael Vey has to go through to save himself and his family. Michael Vey is a 14 year old boy who goes to middle school and has a normal life, just like everyone else. Except for the fact that he has a rare "super power" that nobody else has. All of his life, Michael has been a nobody and a geek in school, until one day when he accidentally shows his power and is now in danger because he exposed himself. The author, Richard Paul Evens has written five other books to this series. My overall opinion of this book was that I really liked it and it was very intriguing and I could not stop reading it. I would rate this book a 4 out of 5 stars. The type of reader who would like this book is someone who is interested in a science fiction, scary, and intriguing book.

The Alchemist This book is extraordinary and a one-of-a- kind read that will amaze you from start to finish. “The Alchemyst by Michael Scott” is a fantasy book that you can never put down. I absolutely love this book and it definitely deserves full stars on any review. This book heavily focuses on magic used by the being's Aura which is the invisible life energy source for every living being and overusing it results in SHC or spontaneous human combustion. The 3 main characters of the book have pure auras are the trio of Sophie and Josh Newman with the legendary Nicholas Flamel. This book also focuses on the Elder race who are comprised of gods from around the world such as Odin, Mars, Osiris, and the main elder of the story Hecate the Greek god of Magic. Nicholas Flamel is a real rumor in the world because when he supposedly died in 1418 his coffin was empty and there was no evidence of grave robbery. In the book he is the guardian of the epic book of Abraham the Mage. The series circulates around the fact that Sophie and Josh are the twins of legend and they were made to foil the dark elders who believe the elders should come back into the realm of reality in steads of living in their own. The twins were destined to save the world by destroying another island known as Danu Talis or in our world Atlantis. Most of the book occurs in San Francisco or in Hecate's realm of reality where she teaches the twins to use their auras. I love this book because it dives into so many mythologies and shows me how diverse the ideas of the world really are. I also like this book because it sets up so many mysteries for the rest of the series. This book is similar to popular to the Percy Jackson series in the respect that they both dive into mythology. This is Michael Scott’s only series but is amazing. I believe the type of reader who would enjoy this book is some who enjoys reading about Mythology and enjoys a fantasy that explores connections in every way.

Brian's return If you've wanted to read a book but didn't know if it was good you'd look for a book review; enough said here's my review now brains return is the fourth book of Brian's saga by Gary paulsen. Though it may not be as good as hatchet it is still a decent read After Brian is rescued from being stranded in a forest alone with only a hatchet Brian starts to realize that the city is not for him as he starts to doze off while in conversation and attack savagely if he is attacked. After going through counseling he talks about live back in the forest and starts accumulating items to return to the forest for a visit. In my opinion this book is mostly filler for the next book in Brian's saga. I'd recommend this book to loyal fans of the series who'd read every book to not miss a single beat in the story.

Have you ever been the odd one out? Or to the point where because you so odd and weird looking, your life is in danger all the time? Welcome to the hard life of a thirteen-year-old Tanzanian boy, Habo short for Dhahabo, which means “golden”. In the realistic fiction book Golden Boy by Tara Sullivan, Habo is albino which is very rare. Unlike the rest of his dark-skinned family, he has yellow hair, light eyes, and pale white skin. All of his family, except for his sister Asu, has a very hard time accepting who he is. Habo has a hard time accepting who he is himself. A lot of times in the book his brother can't even look at him without making Habo very uncomfortable and not confident with his looks. A similar book to this is Ghost Boy by Iain Lawrence. It is about an albino boy that sticks out as well. Tara Sullivan was born in India and spent her childhood living with her parents in Bolivia, Bangladesh, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic. She went to Tanzania to interview many families which tells me that she got good information. I would definitely recommend this book to others, but more specifically ages eleven and up would enjoy the book. I would rate this book a 5/5. This book shows love, kindness, passion, and dedication. In the book Habo is so dedicated to travel for his safety. It also showed the overall thinking process of a boy with an incredibly tough life, which is something that I really enjoyed.

There had been peace between a band of cold ones and a tribe wolves for a long time. It would still be that way if it weren't of a girl. The girl broke the treaty between the two as both loved her. And that girl was Bella Swan. The book Twilight by Stephenie Meyer was published on October 5, 2005. I think the book was very interesting but I also think the beginning and middle of the book was very slow moving. As son as the book hit the climax, it got interesting. But because of how slow the book was at the beginning, I would have to rate it a 4 of 5. The book was set in a small town in Forks and is about the new girl Bella. Bella decided to move in with her dad for the year and she is not to happy about it. I haven't seen the movie so I can't compare it to that but I know that books and movies are never the same. I would recommend this book to mainly girls but anyone would like it. Specially to girls that like romance novels because this is a romance novel as well as the sequels. Over all, this was a great book you just have to give it a few chapters to really get into it.
