The book Bad Girls Don't Die is about a high school girl named Alexis and she has pink hair. She doesn't enjoy high school a lot but that's not what the story is about. Kasey her 12 year old sister starts acting wired. After the book starts talking about high school Alexis and her family get in a fight but in some ways it was good because she started getting close to her sister when they didn't get along really well. After they have bonded, Kasey starts acting weird and so has her house. Kasey doesn't seem the same to her anymore and she tries finding out what's going on. Alexis house has become wired to her when she thought it was the best house. The house starts acting scary. The doors close and open by themselves very often and no one does it they just open by themselves. Another thing that has changed was that Kasey had blue eyes like her but they turn green. Alexis at first thought that that was normal, but then a couple days after her eyes start turning green Kasey started acting weird too and Alexis tried to solve what was happening but she couldn't. Kasey started speaking different than how she used too and she doesn't often know what the time is. Alexis wanted to tell herself that it was just made up and it was just her imagination, but it was hard for her when more things started to happen. She felt threatened in her own home, and she knew there wasn't a way to stop Kasey from changing or things happening in the house.

The author, Alex London changes everyone's predictions on how many people thought the “Proxy” trilogy was going to end. Alex adds a twist and turn at every corner making this book an outstanding book. This book is a great dystopian book and I also would rate this five out of five stars for many reasons. The main characters in “Guardian” are Syd, Liam, Marie, and Cousin. Syd, the protagonist, is the most important person in the revolution, without him, there wouldn't be a revolution. Throughout the book Syd is a hope for the people. Liam the bodyguard of Syd always tries to save Syd throughout the book. He also kills people with his iron fist. Marie was a rich patron before the revolution but because she helped Syd her parents weren't executed and she became a purifier. Cousin, the antagonist of the story, is a mysterious person, no one knows where he came from or who he really is. The setting is in old Detroit and about six months after Syd destroyed the system, a new government formed. In the beginning we meet the characters and find out about the disease. Near the middle the people start getting infected. Near the end Syd finds out something that changes everything about this disease. To find out what happened you have read the book. I rated this book a five out of five because “Guardian” is filled with different outcomes that you wouldn't expect. Another reason I gave it a five out five is because you can tell how the character feels at different points of the story and Alex London did that well. The type of reader that would like this book are people that love action packed books.

Have you ever wondered hair it was like if you ever knocked out your two front teeth? Then you may want to check out the book Smile by Raina Telgemeier. It is a realistic book and I with overall rate it five stars. The book starts off with the main character Raina knocking out her two front teeth and has to go through different orthodontist doctors. And takes through an adventure of feelings and friendships. All of this takes place in San Fransisco, California. In the book it states " It's okay, Honey... It's gonna be okay. My teeth!!! My tooth!!... We've got one tooth... Anybody find the other?" This shows how Raina shows how she knocked her two front teeth. Some background information about the author is from San Fransisco, California. She has written other booms like Sisters ,Drama and The Baby Sisters Club Book. The type of reader that would enjoy the book is someone who likes graphic novels and realistic fiction books.

Maze Runner one of the best books I have ever read!!!           The book that I read was Maze Runner by James  Dashner. The genre is science fiction. My opinion on the book  was that, it was one of the best books that I have read, 9/10  rating. The book was about a kid named Thomas and he was  put inside of a giant maze. In the maze was a spot called the  glade where all of the kids live. While he was in it he met a  bunch of people. The most important kids were, Mihno, Gally,  Alby, and newt. The plot is, the kids are exploring the maze  trying to find a way out. But, they find something very  suspicious about the maze. Also something very bad happens  to the glade that changes the whole story. Just like other  books of James Dashner this one was very interesting and  fun. Overall I really liked this book. The type of person that I  think would like this is someone who likes to read adventure  and science fiction books.

The book The Sound of Letting go, is a beautiful, well written book. This book is, realistic fiction  and written by Stasia Ward Kehoe. I give this book 5 star rating because of the connections that I made with it and the main character Daisy  is kind of similar to me. I think this book  is really good and I'd read it again.   the main character, Daisy, she's a good student daughter and sister, she's got great grades and  plays her horn beautifully. She hates to blow off her friends to help her mom with her autistic  brother, Steven but she knows that her parents work to hard and deserve a little bit of freedom.  But she is soon told by her parents that Steven will be sent to a new school where he will sleep,  eat and well, live, and with Steven being her only brother she doesn't take this very well. She  starts to wear dark clothes and makeup and she's blowing off her classes. Her friends start to  worry about her, but she gets annoyed and tells them to mind there own business.

Chomp Do you like books that are funny? If so, Chomp is a good book for you! Chomp was written by Carl Hiaasen. The theme of the book is Man vs. Nature. I really liked this book and rate it 5 stars. The book is introduced with Mickey Cray, who suffered from a serious concussion that put him out of work. He lives in Florida and he has a son named Wahoo (as in the type of fish). Wahoo’s mom goes away for work, so Wahoo is left with his dad. After Wahoo’s mom leaves, Mickey is offered a job on a T.V nature show watching over some animals. Some of his animals from his backyard are also going to be on the same show. The issue is the star of the show, Derek Badger, is a total faker. The whole show is planned out. Another problem is that Derek and Mickey are polar opposites. Mickey protects the environment while Derek only cares about the T.V show and eats all the animals which are mostly fake. As a reader of almost all of Hiaasen’s books, I predicted this will cause a lot of tension, and I was right. Mickey is constantly calling Derek, “Derek Beaver” and Derek is always getting mad at Mickey when one of the animals attack him. This book is very similar to Hoot and Scat, two other Hiaasen books, which are both very good. Three Times Lucky by Sheila Turnage is also similar to Chomp. Anybody who is looking for a humorous book to read should read Chomp. I highly recommend it.

The book that I read was called The Presidents Been Shot by: James L. Swanson and this is a book that actually happens in real life (the book is nonfiction). I would recommend this book to someone who likes the presidents and his history. I would give this book a 5 out of 5 because of how Swanson makes a week of boring things and makes it extremely exciting to read and, when not that important things happen he would talk about what happened within maybe two sentences and the important things Swanson would put so much detail into that it would cover at least three to four pages of writing. The main points in this book are the following: Oswald shooting Kennedy in the back of the head and Kennedy dieing in the surgeon's room in a hospital. When Oswald was shooting at Kennedy, Oswald was aiming at Kennedy's limousine. Oswald missed twice but the third bullet hit and Oswald knew that he hit Kennedy when Kennedy's head went down till the point where Oswald couldn't see his head anymore. Last when Kennedy was dieing in the surgeon's room in a hospital the doctors tried to do everything possible that they could do at that time: they tried to start his heart back up , they tried to do CPR to get his lungs working again but Kennedy still died. The only reason why the doctors did everything possible to Kennedy because he was the president of the USA and if Kennedy was just a citizen the doctors would have pronounced him died right when his car got to the hospital.

The book Orbiting Jupiter by Gary D. Schmidt was the best realistic fiction book you could ever choose to read! When I read the first few chapters of the book I was already heartfelt. It made me want to continue to read to the end. I truly fell in love with this book. If I were to rate this book from one to ten I would definitely give it a ten. In my opinion this book was a great book to sit down with and enjoy. The reason is because it made me feel I was in the actual story. who finally meets his new foster brother named Joseph. Jack already knows three things about Joseph. Joseph almost killed a teacher. He was incarcerated at a place called Stone Mountain. Joseph has a daughter named Jupiter. Even though Joseph is a scary and dangerous fourteen year old he tries to find his daughter that he has never even seen. Joseph and Jupiter were separated, and Joseph was only able to see her once. It's pretty sad to think if Jupiter was your daughter and you only saw her once in your life. You wouldn't feel great. I think an audience that loves sad books and a little of suspense would love the book Orbiting Jupiter. The story itself was a roller coaster ride. The story starts out with a young and shy twelve year old, who is the main character, who finally meets his new foster brother named Joseph. The book I read was Rithmitist by Brandon Sanderson. The book was about a non-Rithmitist student named Joel and his friend Melody. Joel attends a Rithmatist school called Arimduas, only because Joel's mother is a night maid and works there. After students start disappearing is up to Joel and Melody to find the kidnapper and stop him. The atmosphere of the book is sorta Harry Potter esc and a little bit of steam punk mixed into it. The rate I would hit the book is 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. The reason being is because there are some slow parts of the book that was really boring. They tried to lead to a romance but that just took way and sidetracked the reader. For example the Ice Cream parlor was just a wast of time. Non of the information in that scene was of any use except maybe the dollar. Over all thought the book is still fantastic and you should read it.
