This weird but true book was spooktacular! I loved all of the fun and unique facts about Halloween.

Anna and Elsa were born siblings, but torn apart by birth due to a secret; the sisters don't know each other. Elsa is stuck in the face of catastrophe when her parents die at sea. Anna, hearing that the land of Arendelle lost it's queen is heartbroken for the kingdom. So when Elsa is crowned queen, but things don't go as planned, the sisters will have to rely on their heart and dig up their past. I found this book to be more of the retelling of Frozen, compared to the actual twist. Happy reading!

All Snow White wants is someone who actually loves her. After her kind mother tragically perishes, Snow's dad, the king, marries a woman who doesn't care for anything except the power of rulement. So when the king "abandons his daughter and the kingdom", the evil queen rises to power. The kingdom rapidly changes to a horrid and unforgiving place. Meanwhile, Snow White is still surviving. Snow manages to keep happy spirits, neverlest the trauma of the kingdom. We all know how the story goes now- the huntsman is forced to kill Snow White, he doesn't, she lives, blah blah. But what does Snow discover when she arrives upon a house of seven dwarfs? And instead of a true love's kiss, the prince and Snow meet....alive? After digging up and discovering the evil truth of the evil queen, the team makes a plan to finally regain power from the evil queen, once and for all. But the evil queen is smarter than she looks. Jasmine is sick of being stuck in her palace. She wants adventure. She wants something new. Aladdin is just like all the other street rats; hungry, desperate, and crafty. So when he sees a princess in disguise walking through the market exposed to hundreds of thieves, Aladdin swoops down to save to day. The two bond and realize that while they both live a different life, they crave the same thing: difference. Unfortunately, their time is broken and Jasmine is rushed back to the palace and in deep trouble for escaping. Jasmine's father, the sultan, is a bit oblivious man who relies on who he things is trustworthy, but is actually a crafty man: Jafar. Before Jasmine and the sultan know it, they are both in deep trouble. Jafar has outsmarted every option of escape and he holds his most powerful thing: a genie lamp. Pushing the sultan to his death, Jafar quickly settles on ruling the kingdom and the townsfolk. But the one thing that cannot be ruled: Jasmine's heart. Escaping the palace and Jafar, Jasmine finds Aladdin and quickly forms a plan with him and some other street rats. What at first was a little fight with Jafar, is now becoming a rebellion Jasmine and Aladdin are creating. Can they overthrow Jafar and conquer back the kingdom to steady hands? Happy reading!

Nikki's life is basketball: she dreams of it, she plays it, she lives it. So when she and her best friend get picked to be part of an elite club basketball program, she is beyond excitement. But now, compared and next to all of those bigger and taller girls, she seems like she isn't the best. Plus, it doesn't help that Nikki no longer can rely on support of her best friend after it seems that she seems to be too into hanging out with one of the cooler teammates than Nikki. Pressured by the nervousness and difficulty of a school assignment that would embarrass Nikki's secret out to the whole school, Nikki isn't sure who is completely is anymore. This is a book about sports, trust, and finding yourself. Even I, who am definitely not a basketball fan found this book thrilling and entertaining. Happy reading!
