Who has the world's chicest hairstyle, over 2 million Facebook fans, a best-selling book and, is a favorite among celebrities? No its not Justin Bieber, but a five year old Pomeranian called Boo, A.K.A. the World's Cutest Dog!

However, the furry canine, who has also earned himself the title of 'Facebook's most popular dog', wasn't born this way. In fact, his ascent to fame can all be credited to a bad hair day, or as is the case here, a bad fur day - when the Pom's abundant hair became so tangled that his owner took him to a groomer to try get it straightened out.

Unfortunately, even the expert was unable to do much about the tangled mess, and suggested they just shave it off. While initially not happy with the decision, the owner was quite stunned at how amazingly cute Boo looked, once the hair was all gone.

She was so impressed with Boo's new look that she decided to share the photos on the internet with her friends. In 2009, she set up a Facebook page dedicated to the pooch, believing he may get a few 'Likes' - To her amazement, Boo became an instant celebrity, with stars like Ke$ha and Kloe Kardashian 'friending' him on Facebook and also, tweeting about him!

Today, Boo looks and acts like just any other celebrity - Similar to Justin Bieber, he keeps his hair carefully coifed by getting a shave every month. He also decks out in all kinds of cool attire, ranging from baseball shirts to casual hoodies to formal suits and even, a Halloween pumpkin!

He is so popular, that to keep him safe from obsessed fans, his owner has hidden her identity and now goes by the pseudo name of J.H. Lee. Boo also has several human bodyguards and a big giant dog companion called Buddy - who it seems, is not too impressed by Boo's celebrity status and often squishes the little Pom, by sitting on him!

And of course there is a Boo-k called Boo: The Life of the World's Cutest Dog, which contains his biography and lot and lots of pictures. I would not be surprised if Hollywood comes knocking next! To read more about this cutie and see additional pictures, go to www.boothedog.net.
