On Easter Monday (April 13th), thousands of lucky kids from all across America, got a chance to visit the White House and participate in the Annual Easter Egg Roll, hosted by President Obama and his family.

This year's theme dubbed 'Let's Go Play' , was centered around encouraging kids to lead healthy and active lives, and included activities like basketball, soccer, yoga, dancing and even Double Dutch! In addition, the kids got to make (and eat) healthy snacks at the Kids Kitchen, under the supervision of world famous chefs.

But best of all - they got to hunt for 13,000 Easter eggs that had been scattered all over the White House lawn and listen to a special narration of 'Where the Wild Things Are' - read by none other then President Barack Obama.

And if that wasn't enough, Mrs. Obama and her mother, Mrs. Robinson, read "If you give a Mouse a Cookie", whilst Sasha and Malia flipped the pages of a giant copy of the book, so that all the kids could see the pictures clearly.

If you were not fortunate enough to be there, here are two videos that will make you feel slightly better (or worse?). To see more fun videos of rest of day's events, check out: http://www.whitehouse.gov/EasterEggRoll/
