This Saturday, thousands of people all over the world, will get together to 'Thrill the World' by simultaneously emulating the 'zombie' dance that late popstar Michael Jackson did, for one of his biggest hits -'Thriller.'

The annual event, which has no age or experience restriction, was officially launched in 2007 following two consecutive gatherings in Canada, where a large number of fans came together, and danced their way into the Guinness Book of Records.

The first year attracted 1,722 people from 80 cities in 17 countries, while in 2008, 91 groups of zombies from 13 countries joined the fray.

This year, the organizers hope to attract more than 270,000 people to the virtual event that is scheduled for 12.30am GMT - which for some will be Saturday, October 24th night, while for others will fall on Sunday, October 25th morning.

Most participants wear costumes and in some areas, the event is used as way to raise money for local charities.

Since there is no age barrier, even kids can get into the fun - Just get together some family and friends, register your group at www.thrilltheworld.com and get ready for the big night. The website even offers tutorials for those of us who don't know the steps too well, or are a little rusty. Have fun!
